ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a "nose job", is a surgical procedure aimed at reshaping and/or resizing the nose. It can be performed for cosmetic reasons, such as altering the nose's appearance to achieve facial harmony, or for functional reasons, such as improving breathing issues caused by structural abnormalities.

The surgery involves making incisions, either inside the nostrils alone (closed rhinoplasty) or by adding incisions beneath the nose between the nostrils (open rhinoplasty), providing exposure to recontour the underlying bone and cartilage. Recovery typically involves some swelling and bruising, which may last for 2 to 3 weeks. You will notice immediate changes in the appearance of your nose; however, it may take a full year or more to fully appreciate the final results. I will see you regularly throughout your recovery to answer any questions you might have.

PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

"I have always disliked the appearance of my nose and had considered surgery for over seven years. Upon meeting Dr. Franks, I felt safe and secure and trusted his recommendations to help improve the appearance of my nose. I was so impressed with the amount of time that Dr. Franks spent with me discussing the procedure and what to expect before, during and after surgery. He exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend Dr. Franks! He completely changed my life!"   Nolvia G.
