Breast Reduction

A Breast Reduction, or reduction mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure designed to remove excess breast tissue, fat, and skin to achieve a smaller, more proportionate breast size. This procedure is often sought by individuals who experience physical discomfort due to overly large breasts, including neck and back pain, shoulder grooving from bra straps, skin irritation, and posture issues.

The surgery involves making carefully planned incisions to reshape and reposition the breasts while preserving a natural and aesthetically pleasing contour. The nipple and areola are often lifted to a higher, more proportionate position, and in some cases, the size of the areola may also be reduced for better symmetry.

While some swelling and bruising are expected after surgery, most patients experience significant relief from their previous discomfort shortly after the procedure. As healing progresses over the following weeks and months, the final results become more apparent, enhancing not only the appearance of the breasts but also improving overall comfort and quality of life.
